Architectural Technologist

Keenan Recruitment has been retained by a well respected and established architectural practice in Armagh, to recruit for a full-time (Monday to Thursday), permanent Architectural Technologist.

Our client is a leading architectural practice with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and high-quality design solutions across a variety of sectors. Their projects range from residential to commercial and public developments, and they pride themselves on their commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

The Role

As a full-time Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in our practice. You will be responsible for:

• Completing measured surveys.
• Preparing detailed design and technical drawings.
• Coordinating with architects, clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Site meetings, site visits and contract administration.
• Applying your technical expertise to develop creative and practical design solutions.
• Assisting with planning applications, building control applications and construction detailing.
• Contributing to the success of a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Salary

£27K-£35K depending on experience.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• BSc/HND in Architectural Technology.
• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in an architectural technologist role is desirable, however all qualified applications will be considered.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working across multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
